Hello ISDN Users.
I am hit by some frustrations because my Server has only two PCI-X slots
and my Eicon Diva 4BRI-8M, which should work fine with Asterisk, is only
PCI 2.0 standard and does not fit into the PCI-X slot. Currently I use two AVM Fritz! cards, but while my Xeon 604 2000MHz had
a load-average of less then 0.5 it is now increasing to more then 4, if
I have 20 VoIP and two ISDN calls. So, the cheap AVM cards have to replaced. Since I do not have currenly the money to buy…

same motherboard for at least two years now, and this problem started
only last week. At this point, I am sure enough that the card has failed that I have
ordered a new base card. If I'm wrong, I will only be out return postage
and 10% restock fee.
We are using ISDN PRI, and the telephony card is Digium card supported 2 ports of E1s, and in the system.conf, I selected the zone to be uk loadzone = uk (loadzone = uk and defaultzone=uk). Actually the Asterisk in Jordan and connected to Jordan Telecom provider.
This is the output of some commands that help to give the specification of the hardware:
[root@CC dahdi]# dahdi_hardware
pci:0000:05:08.0 wct4xxp+ d161:1220 Wildcard TE220 (5th Gen)
[root@CC dahdi]# dahdi_scan

compare the prices between sangoma and digium pri boards!
Sangoma's oards here in Germany are cheaper as the ones from digium. if you need detailed help, you can contact me, and I can workout for you
something as well as helping you setting up your pbx!

TE410P card down.
I have three (3) TE410P in one machine running asterisk with SS7.
My problems started last week when one of my cards started switching to E1
every time after reboot. I set the following in dahdi.conf and that solve
the problem. /etc/modprobe.d/
options wct4xxp t1e1override=0x00 Now all 4 ports on that card is down with Red Alarm. I tried rebooting the
machine and restarting dahdi with no luck. The other two cards are working
fine. I put a loop plug the ports and same problem. dahdi_scan
i have a question related to CRC, yesterday i had an issue in our span when
i verify with zttool i found recovering instead ok i verify the zaptel.conf and i found

I am trying to setup a GSM-Card for Asterisk. I currently use a "vgsm I"
from voismart (http://www.voismart.it/) but the driver is very bad
(compile-problems and no echo cancellation). Is there anybody out there who can recommend me another piece of
hardware (pci card)? I need 1 or better 4 gsm-ports. Should be stable
and have an echo cancelltaion feature. And of course it should be cheap ;-) Best regards
