Problem getting TDM400P clone card to go off-hook and dial

I am having problems getting a Nicherons TDM400P wildcard clone to dial out.
Everything appears to be configured correctly, but although I see call
progress, it never seems to actually pick up the phone.

(The following is a test of 911 emergency, where I substitute 811 [repair
service] as the actual number dialed.)

Polycom dial w/o “Dial”, while on-hook?

I’ve had phones before where, with the phone on-hook, it still implements
the local dialplan. E.g., if I dialed “0” (on-hook), after three seconds,
it would dial the operator, and have the call on speakerphone. Does
Polycom allow this functionality? Clearly, not a necessary feature… but
it would be a nice one.

Thanks!

DAHDI phantom pickup when ringing

Hi,

I’ve been experiencing trouble with my DAHDI channels for some time and have
finally decided to try and resolve the issue.

Essentially, the problem I am having is that when a call comes in, and my
DAHDI phones therefore ring, Asterisk thinks that one of the handsets has
picked up to answer the incoming call – whereas in actual fact it is still
on hook. The call then gets instantly dropped (the phone is on-hook, after
all), and the caller has to redial.

Sample log (this is an incoming call from SIP/5555, that was “phantom
answered” by DAHDI/7. There is no time delay between the ‘answered’ line and
the ‘hungup’ line):
