The ‘#’ character is a delimiter in URIs, and must be escaped if not being used as such. Quoting RFC 2396, 2.4.3 [1]: PJSIP is doing the “right thing” by escape encoding the reserved character. [1] https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2396.txt
