I’m Using Asterisk 1.8.11.0 on Debian Squeeze. I was experiencing problems with ${SMSSRC} being blank, so I applied this patch: https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/secure/attachment/42026/sms-sender-fix.diff but otherwise everything is standard.

As the subject says, if I am making a call through the phone when an SMS is received, the bluetooth connection drops and the call ends. The SMS is delivered successfully.

This happens on two different 6021 handsets, one is connected to a DBT-120 (csr) dongle and the other is connected to a no-name btusb dongle. Nothing unexpected shows up in the Asterisk console:

I’m trying to create a fax to email function.
I’m using asterisk 1.8.7.0 on Centos 5.6 and using mutt to send the
email with an attachment

Whenever the system command to send the mail is executed, no mail is
sent (have tried using mail as well as mutt)

When I execute the same command from command line using my own user the
mail and attachment are sent without a problem.
The attachment has asterisk as user and 0644 permissions. The file I’m
using for the body of text has 0777 permissions.
I know system is executing commands as I did a touch command to test it.

Asterisk is running as user asterisk.

Is there something obvious that I’m missing?

I am using asterisk 1.8.9.2 and compile all modules related to calendar.

neon version is 0.29.6. OS is ubuntu 11.10.

I configured ical for zimbra, caldav for google mail and ews for exchange
2010 calendar.

ical and caldav setup working fine and i am getting my calendar events
perfectly. But for exchange 2010 calendar i am getting following error.

“Unable to communicate with Exchange Web Service at ‘
https://ex1.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx‘: Could not authenticate to
server: ignored NTLM challenge, GSSAPI authentication error: Unspecified
GSS failure. Minor code may provide more information: Credentials cache
file ‘/tmp/krb5cc_0′ not found”

my calendar.conf is as follows

Hi,

I don’t think even putting a Progress() at the 1st priority will help you
alot give it a try. The reason why I think this will not work that the
clients/UACs have timers and those timers are working exactly the way they
are supposed to and hence when a certain time expires and No-Answer/Ack of
their INVITE is heard they disconnect the call thinking that the server is
dead.
Putting a Progress() on first priority may increase your ringing time but
again if you wish to wait 5 seconds and then execute an AGI – this won’t be
an option, keeping in mind the SIP timers. For this the AGIs and All the
stuff should be less than the SIP expiry & retry timers of clients.

Hi,

Looking to do video conferencing with Asterisk and after some research I
noticed there’s mainly the new confbridge application in Asterisk 10 or
there’s the Medooze MCU software.

I’m not sure as how they compare feature-wise. I get the impression the
video support in confbridge is rather limited at this point, seeing you
can only see one party at the time (right?). Would Medooze MCU be better
at this?
