Hi,

On a Lenny system, with dahdi 2.4.0, libpri 1.4.11.5 and asterisk 1.6.1.18,
I inserted a new Digium HA8 + B400M card.
My usual installation fails.

I can see it listed :
# lspci -n | grep d161

  • Does the “modprobe wctdm24xxp” command complete successfully? Is there
    anything in dmesg or in the output of dahdi_scan after loading the driver?

    My setup is :
    Asterisk box with HA8+B400M < ---ISDN/BRI----> Patton SN4638 < ----SIP--->
    Asterisk

    Patton SN4638 is configured to behave as telco node (ie NT/PtmP).

    PS: As a side note, I originally included the “modprobe wctdm24xxp” command
    in a shell script configured with “set -e” option.
    I will further check the modprobe exit code when such ” wctdm24xxp: probe of
    0000:01:0b.0 failed with error -5″ is produced.
